I recently purchased two new rifles, a 22-250 and a 25-06. After reading a few articles about Leupold manufacturing the Redfield scopes, I decided to give them a try. I purchased two new 3-9x 40mm Redfield scopes, mounted them and have put about 300-350 rounds through each rifle. The clarity of the glass is wonderful, and the adjustments are precise as can be. I have "shot the square" with both rifles and they return precisely to zero. I am able to shoot sub moa patterns with both rifles and am extremely satisfied with the Redfield scopes! You can't find a better bargain on the market today. I plan to buy a couple more before people realize the bargain that they are and price raises to the level that they really are worth!Buy one, or several, you won't regret it!

This is my first Redfield scope and I took a gamble with it. I bought this to mount on my "economy" rifle. A Mossberg 100ATR in 30-06. The scope, rifle and rings came in at around $425. I take it with me when I travel. The scope is comparable to my Nikon as far as brightness in low light and clarity. I have shot a box of 150 gr Federal Power Shocks thru it and it holds zero just fine. The adjustments are a little stiffer than my other scopes but they work fine. I have yet to use the accu range reticle but zeroed my rifle in at 200 yards and the scope worked flawlessly. I would buy another one.

Just bought this scope. It is crystal clear on all powers. Knobs are sold clicks and very easy to feel and hear. I have a few other scopes that cost twice as much and they are not as clear and dont have the easy adjustments as this Redfield.

An AccuRange 3-9x40mm is ...

An AccuRange 3-9x40mm is on my 300 Wby and I love it. At 100yds, I can get a sub-1" group. At 200yds it prints a 1" group and at 300yds it is just over 1.5". Shoot at 9x and trust the hold-over points because they work. I'm getting another AccuRange for my next rifle. The optics on this are as clear as anything you'll find. I like it better than the ProStaff, but I'll leave it up to you to find a scope with the full backing of the manufacturer, the great price, and the great results for the same price. Adjustments are easy to make and they hold. The tech rep I spoke to said the scope is recoil rated to a 375H&H so I'm sure it will last for what I'll do with it. A friend put an AccuRange on his custom 270 Win and is already shooting better.

I mounted this scope on my Winchester model 70 in LH 270 WSM. I like the glass and the ballistic reticle. The eye relief is really good just like other Leupold scopes. I really do think this scope is a tremendous value. My only complaint is that the scope is short and the mounting length is less than my Bushnell Elite 3200 3-10x 40 (this scope is better) which is also a short scope. I am going to have to change my rings to a reversible so I can mount the scope as far back as I want.

I have owned several old original Redfield scopes and also several Leupold scopes. Both brands have been excellent so how could I go wrong with this new Redfield. I have not shot it yet but overall appearance is great. One complaint I have is the adjuster caps are not flat so I was not able to use the leveler when installing it.
