I tried power belts and lost 3 deer :( A friend gave me some TMZ and I scoped them in my first 2 deer were back to back same stand and morning 80 yards out one chest hit he dropped like a rock ,the 2 ran out another 20 yards and I got one shot in the heart he too dropped on the spot. I am now a Barnes tmz user for life .

These bullets are some of the best shooters I've seen. My CVA Kodiak Pro consistently prints sub 1" groups at 100 yards, pushed by BH 209 & a CCI 209 Mag primer. Also very tight groups from my CVA Apex, but a little tighter bore & harder to load. Highly recommended!

Tried the 50 cal. TMZ in th 290 grain weight at the range yesterday 8/28/10 using my new Traditions Vortek and was very impressed with the grouping. Somewhat difficult to start down the first three inches of the barrel, but very accurate. Used Pyrodex pellets (2- 50 gr.) and Pyrodex RS loose powder from 80 to 120 grains. Shot the best grouping using 90 grains of loose powder. Will be trying the T-EZ next...my friend swears by the EZ's for ease of loading and accuracy.

These are the most accurate bullets out of my Encore Endeavor with 110gr of Blackhorn 209 (by volume). Very tight to load though, but worth it.300gr T/C Shockwaves were also accurate with the same charge, but not quite as accurate. With these bullets I am confident they will land within an inch of being sighted in every time.

2" group (three shots) at 100 yards in T/C Omega using 100 grains of Triple 7 powder. I did not even have the Barnes bullet aligner to seat the bullets with! My next step is to purchase the bullet aligner to see if it tightens up the group even more. Only complaint is the yellow plastic sabot is on the tight side in my gun. The 250 grain T/C Shockwave grouped even better(and load easier with less force), but I would rather hunt with the Barnes because of better penetration and weight retention.

This is a devastating bullet. Very accurate out of my Knight Revolution, shooting a weighed charge of 777 FFFg. Shot a big Ohio White tail last fall at 189 yards did not take a step, fell over dead. Somewhat hard to load but it is worth the effort when you shoot the bullet at game.

Very accurate. Excellent 3 shot groups less than 1 MOA (100 yds) from TC Encore using 3x50 gr. Pyrodex pellets, or Triple 7 pellets. Triple 7 seems to be a bit more potent. Cleaned barrel with TC Bore Butter swab after each shot, swab then dry patch. Can't comment on effectiveness on game, but am confident that they will perform well.
