Designed to withstand even the heaviest recoiling rifles, Leupold Standard Rings are constructed of machined steel. Stronger than aluminum, steel rings are perfect for locking your scope solidly into place. The front ring is dovetail style while the rear is windage adjustable. Leupold Standard Rings are ideal for use with Leupold Standard Bases.

CHOOSING RINGS: Ring height is determined by measuring the outside objective (bell) diameter on your scope. If you aren't sure which rings will suit your needs, please refer to the Ring Height Application Chart.

Recently mounted a 50mm ...

Recently mounted a 50mm VX-3L with these on top of a one piece Leupold base. Workmanship is perfect and scope is held solidly and beautifully. Lined up true to the bore perfectly. Very little scope windage adjustment needed. Locked up easily and solidly in the base. Will continue to buy these high quality rings for future mounting projects.

I used these rings with ...

I used these rings with their respective Leupold bases on a stainless Model Seven. The scope was a VX3 2.5-8x36mm. The ocular end in this setup is the limiting factor (clearance for the bolt handle). I like to mount my scopes as low and close to the barrel as posible. This combination allowed me to do that perfectly. The matte black finnished rings and bases are a beautiful contrast to the stainless synthetic rifle as well.

The rings are well made ...

The rings are well made and can be used on scopes with objectives up to 42mm perfectly. I'm using these on a Remington 700 with a Redfield Illuminator 3x9x42mm and the objective is about 1/4" from the barrel which is great for accuracy and cheeck weld. Over all I give them four stars because they are good but not the best because they did need some lapping to get them true. If you want he best, go with Badger Ordnance rings and bases that will set you back about $300 but are by far the best set up I have ever used. For general hunting you can't beat these and like always, Leupold's quality is excellent.
