I like the fact that they are clear and I can visually check the load i.e. slug Vs. shot, but despite buying the Lyman Shotshell reloading handbook and surfing the web, I cannot find very much in the way of loading data for various slugs or 00 buckshot loads. Would have given them full stars, but due to the lack of reloading info for the components I can acquire, I lowered it a little. BTW, requests to both Hodgon/Winchester/IMR and Alliant via e-mail for Lyman and or Lee slug loading data, for Fiocchi hulls, WAA12 wads and ANY of their powders yielded no response.

I bought a couple hundred of these hulls, and have yet to shoot any. They appear a bit thin but load well. I've been searching the internet for load data, and it's rather sparse. I'm looking to load Lee drive key slugs, and 00 buck. Fiocchi is no help with any load data, neither is Lee. If you buy them your working up your own loads unless your using shot. I also found that Federal 12S3 Wads seal better in these shells, than Waa 12sl, and waa12f114's which allow powder migration. I found these are straight walled hulls like a Fed shell. I've got a lot of answers as to whether they load like Federal hulls, but no clear answer. I've wasted a lot of time and money searching and buying reloading manuals to find data. My opinion is that it's not worth it. It's easier to find and buy hulls you have data for, and that have manufacturers that aren't afraid to publish data. Like Federal, Winchester, Remmington.

After loading a few hull's I found out that it is best to use the 6 point crimp, every time I tried to use the 8 point it would cave-in the sides of the hull's and gave a sloppy looking crimp as well. I did have some powder seepage through the wad when installing them. I still need to see how well they perform, but once you use the right crimp they produce a good looking round. So far I would recommend the hulls, they are priced within reason for primed hull

For the money I guess there a deal but 20% of them I cant get to crimp right, or the crimp opens back up. Its not just me either, look at other websites reviews.

Awesome hulls we load a ton of ammo and the SL 900 Dillon runs the hulls great and we found no problem with miss fires. We load for LCSO police department and have never had a problem with the hulls. They also hold up well with #0 buckshot 9 balls fit real nice and holds a super close pattern.

These shells loaded great with my Lee Load all. Did some 00 buck and 1oz Lee slugs. Nice folds perform well and reload nice. Getting much harder to find once shot hulls. Being primed these are nice alternative. High brass looks nice all shipped in great shape. Will be ordering more.

Bought these to load ...

Bought these to load slugs with a roll crimp. These shells rolled great. Then use the rest to make up some hunting rounds with #4 copper plated shot 1-1/8 oz. They performed very well. Have reloaded them have had no problems with primer pockets. Have use 2 types of primers CCI 209M and Remington STS 209 holding up very well reloaded 3 times still going.
