TY M of Herriman, UT- hit pretty much everything on this light. The twist on and off can become tiresome but the price was just right. I had a really hard time finding a light that didnt have a "low" setting. I wanted a durable straight forward light with self defense striking bevels. I have dropped this light from higher than 2 stories. I have slammed it (on purpose) against concrete, wood, metal etc. and worked fine. No problems AT ALL.I will say this. There is a sweet spot on the lights tail cap. You have to it tightened down just right enough for the push "on/off" but not enough that if you apply pressure on the sides the light goes off. I still give it 5 stars because no other light out there does what this one does for under 50.00.

The description fails to mention one key aspect of this flashlight. Many of my tactical flashlights have a push on/off tailcap button that you can simply put pressure on to momentarily turn it on/off, or you can click it to have it constantly on. This flashlight does have a tailcap button, however you must twist it on/off. The tailcap button will not click on/off. It is used to do momentary on/off only. So in other words, to turn it on, you must turn the tailcap completely inward to have constant on. To turn off, you twist the tailcap outward. To use momentary on/off, you must have the tailcap twisted to the off position, and then you may put pressure on the tailcap button. Again, the tailcap button does not ever click on/off. Some of you may like/dislike this feature. My intent is simply to inform you of it. There is a ring in between the body of the flashlight and the tailcap. This ring is used for the lanyard. The lanyard is a bit on the cheap side, and since this is a twist on/off flashlight, the lanyard ring will rattle as it is not held tightly since the tailcap leaves a gap when in the off position. The holster is also a bit cheap since it turns my flashlight on when inserted. You must twist the tailcap off enough so that the pressure caused by closing the holster does not turn your flashlight on by putting pressure on the tailcap button. Overall, it is a decent flashlight for the price and the great thing is it used more common batteries like AA instead of my other flashlights that use the expensive CR123 batterires. It is anodized inside out, has a nice bezel end, has a pocket clip attached, o-ring sealed for water resistance, and again, not bad for the price.
