Thompson Center's Recoil Proof Handgun scopes have been designed to withstand the rigors of heavy recoil produced when firing heavy centerfire rifle cartridges in the Contender and Encore handguns. Thousands of rounds were expended in the testing of these scopes to assure reliable performance. The lenses are precision ground, polished and coated to provide maximum light gathering ability. Shockproof and fogproof, these scopes are covered under a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
