Replacing a complete fire control group can be quite expensive, thankfully JP Enterprises makes a trigger spring kit that will give your stock AR-15 a 4 to 4-1/2 lb trigger pull; with JP trigger parts the same springs will produce a 3 to 3-1/2 lb trigger pull. If replacing the entire fire control group isn't in your budget, or you just have too many AR-15s to justify a complete trigger kit in each of them, this trigger spring kit will significantly improve your stock trigger without breaking the bank. This kit includes a trigger, hammer and disconnector spring.

I bought these figuring for how cheap they are I might as well try them out. I was definitely not expecting to get the results I got. Using just a stock FCG and these springs produced a very light and very crisp trigger pull! Granted I don't have a gauge to see how heavy the trigger pull is right now, I can most definitely tell the difference! If you want to upgrade your trigger but are like me and too cheap or are unsure about a two stage trigger this is the way to go. It won't get you that perfect trigger pull you want, but it sure is a foot in the door and for the price, why not get it?

These springs do produce ...

These springs do produce the advertised light trigger pull, but it is at the expense of reliability. They will NOT produce the power to reliably ignite harder primers found in military and some commercial ammo, and should NEVER be used in a rifle you depend on to fire every time. A suitable alternative method is to use the reduced power trigger and disconnector spring with the OEM hammer spring. It will not be as light of a pull as the yellow hammer spring, but it will be much more reliable.

Great quality, very affordable upgrade, did a fantastic job of enhancing my stock ar-trigger. It also works with a slide fire stock as well.

Reduced the trigger pull on my M4, however not as much as I would have liked. didn't use the hammer spring as I use military ammo which has harder primers.

i bought this product for my sons ar. the factory trigger took a lot of force to pull it. i don't have a trigger scale so i don't know what it took before i changed the springs or the difference after. i do know that it takes a lot less effort now and the trigger doesn't feel as "gritty" as before. installation was pretty straight forward and fairly easy. i would recommend these springs to anybody.

Noticeable accuracy increase over stock

I built my AR with a stock FCG and quickly realized how gritty and hard the pull was, despite my efforts to rectify the shortfalls of the stock FCG. This spring kit was very economical and highly effective! My groups are noticeably smaller and more consistent. The only shortfall is an occasional FTF using CCI 41 or mil spec 5.56 primers. They are thicker and sometimes need the extra hammer power of the stock springs. I use regular SR primers with no slam fire or FTF issues yet. Easy to install, great instructions. I highly recommend this if you don't want to spring for the full FCG!

Was hoping to lower the ...

Was hoping to lower the pull weight a little bit. Wasnt expecting a miracle. I succeeded in reducing pull with a noticeable amount, but my first trip out shooting', it wouldn't set off commercial ammo. I had American Eagle .223 Rem during this time and was getting repeated light primer strikes. Yes the bolt assembly and trigger group were near surgical clean and lubed appropriately. So luckily I had my original Hammer spring, swapped them out and everything was back to normal as far as function. I left the trigger spring in since you can tell a difference between the JP and original springs when they're not installed, so every little bit can help. All in all a good upgrade but be prepared for light primer strikes.

My wife and I installed this spring kit and JP Enterprises anti-walk pins in our Technical Innovations T-15 lower receiver with DPMS fire controls. With our DPMS BA-A3AS upper installed, both of us are shooting 1/4 MOA to 5/8 MOA groups with reloads and with Remington factory loads. MY wife can hardly believe how easy it is to shoot these groups now. Thanks Midway USA for stocking great parts at great prices.

Made quite an improvement to my LR-308's trigger pull. No problems with weak primer strikes whatsoever. Yellow paint on the springs is kind of annoying, it will flake off inside your gun.

This took the pull on my dpms FCG (with KNS pins) down to 4.0 lbs from a measured 6.25 lbs. I do not have any complaints with the function of the springs. The unevenly applied yellow bubbled paint is a disappointing aspect for me. I suppose jp did this so that the springs can be visually identified from stock springs. Any any event this is still a good deal. I still have a creep in my pull which is expected with a stock non adjustable trigger. These springs are a compromise, don't expect to turn a mil spec trigger into a $150.00-$200.00 trigger.

Just installed these 3 springs and they dropped my trigger pull from 6.5 to 4.7 so they do help in that regard. There was a noticeable increase in the lock time but that is to be expected when you reduce spring pressure. They did what they say they would do so I will give them a 5.

This product performed as promised. Reduced the trigger pull on an S&W M&P 15-22 from 5+ lbs to 4-1/4 lbs (averaged over 3 pulls each). I'm expecting this will make for a more repeatable trigger experience at the range. Easy to install. Very satisfied overall.
