Product Information

For protecting a valuable select-fire receiver, or even a semi-auto receiver that has seen a high volume of fire, these non-rotating trigger and hammer pins are a must. Anti-creep retainers keep the pins from constantly rotating during extended firing sessions and weakening the receiver walls. The 0.1555" diameter option is for use with Standard Small Pin receivers with enlarged hammer and trigger pin holes. Modification II pins retain the popular original "dogbone" look of Generation I pins, with added strength for longevity. Not compatible with Jewell match triggers.

Since Midway's rating of three stars is "good" that's what I give this product. I got it because I have a JP trigger in a receiver that at one time had over-sized pins. I got the KNS .1555 and they fit well. The non-rotation and slightly larger size took some inconsistency out of the trigger pull, but it was not a night and day difference. The KNS part is great for a class 3 receiver, or a "trick" trigger with slop. It was especially good to get it on sale. But for a new build or spec. trigger group, there's not benefit to it.

Fantastic!! Relatively easy to install (had mine in within 5min, I also replaced the trigger group springs in that time-frame) really gives my lower a finished look as well as keeping my pins from moving. Feels very solid, and does not bind my trigger, disconnector, or hammer.

I didn't think I needed a set of these, but after reading many comments here and elsewhere that they greatly improved the trigger pull on stock triggers I decided to try a set in one of my varmint AR's. I have to say it really did make a *noticeable* improvement in the pull. A set of these combined with a "15 minute" trigger job and it's almost as good as that on one of my AR's with a high dollar aftermarket trigger.

I bought my first KNS Gen 2 pin kit for my Rock river 6.8spc, liked it so well I replaced all my AR platforms trigger and hammer pins with these kits. Worked great on Rock river 6.8spc CAR, 5.56 Midlength, 5.56 standard A4 all with RRA 2 stage match triggers. I also replaced on 2 DPMS LR308's. The receiver is a little slimmer in width on the LR308 lower, which allows the KNS pin not to fit flush on both sides, however to the untrained or you know what to look for, you will never notice. Functions great on the LR308. Would definitely recommend, and purchase again for future builds.

Fit perfectly in my Rock River 6.8spc Carbine Lower with the RRA two stage match trigger. Functioned great no problems. Install took 5 minutes. Great upgrade would recommend to all my friends!

Install is a breeze with the pointed tip. No need to remove anything, pins slide right in with trigger and hammer in place. Installed in a RRA with a Jard trigger, noticed hammer pin walking right out the side of the receiver with the Jard single stage. Definitely ordering more for all past and future builds. Also hides unsightly blemishes from installing and removing triggers pins on receiver from multiple trigger installs and drift pin slips.

Some people say they are unnecessary, some people they are a good cheap insurance. I put them on my 9mm/.22 SBR for insurance because spending $30 is much cheaper than replacing a $400 lower.
