Simply put, if you own a handgun for personal defense, buy this DVD. I've never seen anything quite like it. Its four DVDs (something like 7 hours) just jam packed with incredibly educational material from two instructors that really know what they are talking about. The material is broken down so that it is easy to follow and quick to grasp. There is even a drills DVD that has easy reference to 50 something drills in slow motion so you can practice the techniques taught. Unlike the other training DVDs I've bought in the past, these DVD are actually entertaining to watch. Even my wife, who has never watched a gun show with me, sat down and watched these. I am big fan of the Art of the Tactical Carbine, but the handgun is more relevant to my needs and this is the best home defense purchase I've made in a long time. I highly recommend it.

I have to say, I wanted to be impressed, but I wasn't. It had a lot of cool stuff, but frankly, could have been covered more efficiently. I don't need to see how a bunch of students shoot. It could have been half as long and half the price. It is still entertaining enough that I may buy the carbine course, but I'm afraid it won't live up to expectations.

Very informative! Each disc has tons of info that will improve your shooting skills. Each time I watch these, I learn something new to improve my form. The first time I watched the series, i had to keep going back to review what had been said because there is so much information. The Instructors are awesome. They drive step by step to build muscle memory in shooting form.

This is a great set. These guys are pretty decent at what they do. However, their way isn't "the way". A good student will always combine what he learns from various teachers and make them his own.

This video led me to actually purchase the Tactical Carbine course as well. It is a very well thought out video series that breaks down into drills and general information. I have watched it over and over again and have completely changed my shooting style. My follow up shots are much faster. I would highly recommend this video to anyone looking to increase their skill at handgunning.

There are a lot of good training videos in the market place but the MagPul videos are among the best. The handgun set is consistent with their high standards. This is a training set that is highly effective and of superior production quality. It is one of those rare efforts that you will watch over and over without loosing interest. You will keep finding new things of value on the video. It is a great $ value for the thorough content. The methods shown are sound and effective. The drill segments are especially well done. The entertainment value is also very high. I look forward to future tapes of new courses (precision Rifle, etc.).

Excellent group of videos. That should not be a surprise since it came from MagPul. Perfect for beginner- experienced shooter. Covers all aspects from stances and grip to ammo and accessories, drills, experiences, scenarios and anything else you could think of.
