I bought one because I ...

I bought one because I was having a jamming problem with reloads in my XDM (a very dangerous situation). I ended up pulling nearly fifty bullets and discarding 1/3 of the cases I had reloaded; I found that if they passed the gauge test, they fit the chamber perfectly. Anyone who reloads without the use of a gauge is either very lucky or better at it than I am. Buy one and save time, money and improve safety.

Excellent and a must have tool for the reloader. I use the 40 S&W and the 9 mm Luger gauges. Lifetime investment.

Definitely a great ...

Definitely a great product to be sure all is well with the size and length of a finished round. I wouldn't reload without this safety check. I have used several brands of gages. All are good. Lyman is the best. I wish Lyman made one in .44 special, I'd be ordering it right now! I will have to get another brand.

Again Lyman produces this ...

Again Lyman produces this gauge in normal top notch fashion. Fit and finish are great with a deep knurling. I love the dual functionality of checking resized brass and then again when the load is complete. It performs great right out of the cool and reusable packaging tube it comes in. Thanks for a great product Lyman.

This case gauge has ...

This case gauge has quickly become one of the indispensable tools of my reloading process. Initially, it helped me to find where my reloading dies were not quite right and now I check 1 round every 50, just to make sure things are consistent. Using this gauge, my reloads have been dialed in to consistently function in my handgun.The only complaint I have is that it suddenly rusted and I'm not sure why. I ran a bore snake through the inside to clean out the rust, but much of the checkered area still has some residue.
