I have a set of these on my Savage 22-250 and they really seem to do an excellent job of holding the scope straight and true. They are very easy to set up and align, I have been shooting this rifle for over a year now and I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent set of rings, at a great price.

Bought these to use on a Leupold Weaver Style base I bought for an old H & R. Fastened them to the base, but was unable to get the ring tight on the base. I had an actual Weaver base laying around for a Thompson Center and tried the rings on that. They seemed to tighten on that base okay. Filed a little off the ring facing the clamp and was able to make them work. The rings seem decent, other than this issue.

Seems like a really nice product but midway advises its tall enough for a 50mm scope, but the cheap tasco 40mm front bell was right on the rail with these on my AR-15. just ordered a similar set that are taller. if you have a 30mm scope, this should do just fine and probably does a great job clamping. but for a 40mm or above, order a taller set.

These are great rings for the price and have used them on several rifles, both rimfire and centerfire. Regarding some of the poor reviews by others, I too have problems mounting these rings on my Ruger 10/22 which I traced to the scope mount which came with the rifle from Ruger! The solution was simple, I used Weaver mounts made the 10/22 and never had another problem. Regarding the review about a broken screw, I had a similar problem not with these rings but with a vintage Weaver scope mount made in El Paso. Take care not to over tighten or over torque fasteners, it is surprisingly easy to over tighten with the 'short' supplied allen wrench or even your basic screw driver for that matter.

I noticed 4 guys at the bottom gave poor reviews because the rings don't tighten onto the Weaver base on 10/22s. Notice that most 22 rifles have a narrower base 3/8" than these normal size 1/2" rings. That is why they sell specific 22 rings. That is operator error...not a problem with these rings. I prefer these rings because I like the allen screws rather than slotted screws. These tighten down great for me with minimal scope rotation.

I wouldn't buy these for a Ruger 10/22. I have them on mine and you REALLY have to tighten them or the scope wobbles. Even then, they loosen up whether you shoot every day or if you keep the gun in storage. I haven't tried any thread locker to see if that would help; I think I'd rather get some new rings.Other than that, they seem to be well made.

These rings will not get tight on a Weaver base. I tried it on two different guns... The steel clip tightens on the ring before it grips the base. Weaver should do better QC before they ship their products....

I gave these a fair rating due to poor quality of the screws. I was hunting out of a box stand with my rifle leaning in the corner. I heard a ping and looked down to see that the nut that secures the ring to the base was lying in the bottom of the stand. The bolt just snapped in two at the nut with nothing even touching the gun while I was sitting in my stand. That stinks.

Very happy with these rings. Like all Weaver products the quality and value is excellent. Very solid and fit is good and should be very strong. I had less trouble with the crosshairs rotating that any rings I have used in the past. These will be my go to rings in the future
