This is kind of a split ...

This is kind of a split review, the tool itself scores a 5 star if you're removing and installing factory style sights and night sights, which you can do in under 2 minutes. But if you're installing adjustable sights like LPA's, you'll have to do a lot of grinding on the sight pusher both on the sides and at the top of the pusher block that's why the 3 star rating. There is not enough space for the sights to fit in the slot. The tool works great once you do the grinding and it will also work on the front sight's as well, which is a big plus for the tool. This tool is not cheaply made it is quality all the way and it is made in the USA

This unit worked on my Beretta PX4 Storm (F model). One thing not mentioned in the instructions or product description is that it will work on the front sight as well as the rear! I was concerned about that when I purchased because I needed my front sight moved more than the rear. The rear sight was very difficult to move at all. Thankfully, the front sight moved with little effort. This tool appears and feels to be QUALITY and now I see why they are so pricey. I expect this to last through me and my son's lifetime. The tool I received was actually black (even better) and not blue as pictured above. Everything else looks the same. I felt the sight pusher did not extend low enough to get a 100% solid "grip" on the rear sight. Instead the pusher touched the rear sight about halfway down the sight post. Not that big of a deal and maybe adding a couple flat washer would cure that but as stated the tool works and as you see it is worth at least 4 stars! I am very glad that I went with this tool instead of the Beretta version which costs about 33% more. I don't see how Beretta could make a better tool than this one by MGW. Solid. Solid. Solid!

When I open the box this tool came in, I could not believe my eyes. This tool is excellent. When I got it out to adjust my sights at the range,all I heard from other shooters was where did get that from? So I said Midway USA . But the best part of all, it is made in GOOD OLD U.S.A. What a tool.
