These aluminum rings are designed to fit the 3/8" mounting rail found on many 22 rimfire rifles and most airguns. This series offers maximum scope retention with nearly double the surface area as other standard rings.

Very solid rings. Like ...

Very solid rings. Like most low cost rings they are made in China, but seem to be a lot more robust than most Chinese rings. Perfect fit on my Marlin Model 60, and just the right height. Very good product.

I purchased a set of these rings to temporarily mount a Leupold 4 - 12 Rifleman scope to my old Mossberg 144LSA target rifle to do some ammunition accuracy testing. For a low cost set of rings I was very impressed. They did the job. Unfortunately the scope had a lot of parallax at 50 yards so I ended up testing at 100 yards! I just purchased a set of B-Square Weaver/Picatinny rings (548466). I was not impressed with them - see my review under that part number.

I compared a lot of rings ...

I compared a lot of rings and selected these because the height was perfect for getting the scope as low as possible on a Marlin .22 auto, without removing the iron sights. These rings have a good fit and finish and clamp to the dovetail extremely securely with allen screws. I suspect that the reviewer who junked these rings has accidentally turned his clamps upside down. The angles are different if you look closely. The longer angled edge goes to the dovetail rail on the receiver. The clamps do not sit flush with the side of the rings, probably by clever design, to allow extra room for tightening on worn, out of spec., or even European receiver dovetail rails.

Had to give it one star ...

Had to give it one star because it was unusable. Overall quality looked good but when putting the satin finish on, the lips that clamp on the dovetail were dubbed off so much that they would not even go into the dovetail groove.
