Great Piece of Mind

I take this kit with me whenever I shoot in case I have a problem. Luckily I have not used them yet. The only thing that it should come with is a lockable plastic container.

Two years ago, I bought one of these repair kits to carry in my AR bag and had never even pulled it out until this weekend. We were on a hog hunt out in western middle of nowhere when my extractor claw broke off during rapid fire on a particularly nasty, foul tempered mama feral hog. If I had not stored this kit in my case, I'd have had to cut my weekend short as the nearest gun store was 145 miles back toward my home. Because I had this inexpensive, yet invaluable repair kit with me, I was back up and running in about 15 minutes. Thanks to MidwayUSA reminding me about this parts kit during a previous unrelated purchase, we managed to take 4 more hogs before calling it quits. Consequently, my friends land is safe from this herd for a couple of days. (there are more hogs than people here now) I will be adding another repair kit to my next order from MidwayUSA as this was a lesson about being prepared for the unexpected!

I bought this kit along with a single point sling adapter. I got to use one of the springs when I lost the buffer retaining spring. Worth the price of the kit not to have your AR out of commission due to lost/broken parts!
