The Redding T-7 Turret Press has a 7-station turret head that is easily turned to set the next die in place. With additional turret heads (sold separately), a reloader can switch between calibers without readjusting depth. The cast iron construction and stout compound linkage allow for reloading magnum cartridges with ease.

A super heavy weight ...

A super heavy weight press. Mega rock solid. No case less than 4" long is in existence that cannot be reformed, reloaded or whatever by this press. Practically sneezes at reforming the largest magnum belted cases. Tore off some heads w/ the powerful linkage.I'm glad Redding has given up on the angled turret of the older model 25 press bec this press is made correctly. No more spilled powder, falling bullets due to that pesky angle.Indexing is easy and quite smooth although I miss the handle of the old model.I never liked the tube priming method so I still use my Lee autoprime 2 which fits on this press.Although I have this press, I still use my lighter Lee Reloader press for decapping prior to tumbling. If you want a press which will outlast you , your son, grand son, and great grand son, this is it!

I have experience with ...

I have experience with many presses from my 10 years of reloading for competition, varminting, and hunting. My primary press was a Dillon RL 550 for both pistol and rifle before I bought the Redding T-7. I purchased it for rifle reloading from .22 Hornet to .338 win mag, that includes 12 different rifle cartridges in total. The T-7 is a significant hunk of iron and the first accessory I recommend is the optional priming arm if you do not hand prime your brass. With that said, Redding produces outstanding dies and coming from that background T-7 the press has unexpectedly sloppy tolerances and rough machining. If compared to a Lee press it is a significant improvement. However with the visible canting of the turret head while forming and seating motions plus the excessive looseness/play in the linkage arm and priming equipment, my overall pinion of the press is just fair. It would be a good press for both but because of the above mentioned it is not a great press. However it is the top turret presses on the market.

Redding really got my attention after buying their powder measure. The tollerance was so tight it didn't bleed powder specially flake powder. So the T-7 Turrett press really got my attention. Finally a press simple to operate, strong enough for big bore, and eliminated the defective loads so common with progressives. I can monitor each step closely while rotating to next die. Having 7 holes for dies allows me to put 2 sets of dies in (would be nice if there were 8 holes). I use my single stroke to deprime and size the brass. Then throw them into thumbler tumbler to clean. After drying over night. I use the T-7 and load up both my 9mm and 38spl which are all set up making short work out of the loads. Now there aren't cans of brass laying around waiting for the next step... just finsihed ammo in boxes ready to be shot. I will be buying several more turrets to hold my other dies. You won't regret this purchase...

This setup is extremely well-made, crafted here in the U.S. I found it very easy to prepare dies and make adjustments, as everything is in the open, readily accessible. To me, progressive machines are far too complicated. As a result of this complexity, quality control suffers (which none of us can afford). I am proud to own this machine, and a growing list of extras and options that make the Redding T-7 so versatile and user-friendly.

This a long overdue ...

This a long overdue review on the Redding T-7 that I've now been using for a year. Having used a single stage press for years, it was a big deal for me to change. I researched progressives and turret models at length. I decided on the turret due to my discomfort with the multiple simultaneous steps of the progressive. I grind out about 5-600 .45ACP's a month. The T-7 is built to survive and it is a pleasure to watch it work. As part of the research I emailed Redding with some questions. They answered immediately and honestly and they continue to be there when needed. Yet another reason to be very comfortable with my decision to purchase the T-7. I would do it again in a New York minute, but the way this thing is built...that will never be necessary.A superior piece of equipment.

Got this baby for Christmas!! Outstanding quality and for those who like turret presses this is the way to go. Much faster load times can use for 4 or 5 station loading with a couple left over for other things like depriming only.

This is my first press to ...

This is my first press to load pistol (45acp and 38 special). After months of researching the internet for reviews, and advice from reloading friends, I decided on the T-7. I wasn't disapointed in the least. This press is built like a tank, heavier than I ever expected, and my descendants will be loading on it when I'm gone! Super duty doesn't fully describe how this thing is put together. Very smooth operation, zero play in the turret, very well thought out and put together. Depriming tube catches 100% of spent primers. I am very, very pleased with this press, and I know that I will never be able to wear it out, and will be capable of any of my future reloading needs in the future. Recommend a t-7 to anyone looking for top shelf equipment.

I have other reloading presses but this one is by far MY FAVORITE!!! If I had to pick one, this one is the keeper. My Dillon press is faster but it can't handle some of the rifle brass I've tried on it. With the Redding T-7, its no sweat.

After doing a lot of research, I purchased the T-7. It has been a great press so far. It had just a slight bit of up and down play in the turret, but after slightly lap sanding the bushing .002", it is perfect. If I had to buy another press, I would buy this one again.
