I have one of these on my encore 15" 308, I shoot silhouettes, I have over 1000 rds down the barrel with this scope and it has keep its zero. Now if they would make mounts that wouldnt break after 200 rds.

I cannot recommend this product because when I received my scope out-of-the-box, the reticle/cross-hairs were canted/out-of-alignment with the turrets in excess of 3 degrees (as best as I could measure with a protractor). I purchased this scope to replace a defective Simmons scope that would not hold a zero under heavy recoil. I thought to myself that I would quit messing around and buy from the supposed best brand there is Leupold. When I ordered the Leupold FX-II Pistol Scope 4x 28mm Duplex Reticle Matte, I thought I was going to put my scope troubles behind me and move forward with a quality scope. You can imagine my disappointment and frustration when I mounted my new Leupold scope only to find that it didnt live up to the hype and drama surrounding Leupolds brand name! Dont believe the bunk and hype others write. If Leupold was so great and if their prices were worth it, they would NEVER have let such a poor example leave their factory. Buyers beware, just because you pay a lot doesnt mean you get a quality product.

I mounted this scope on my XP-100 .308 Winchester pistol. The eye relief is almost too long for my short arms. The adjustments are accurate and zeroing was easy. It handles recoil well.

I mounted this scope on my Remington XP-100 which I use for IHMSA Big Bore Silhouette, the scope has been on this handgun for about 4 years and has performed flawlessly. The caliber is 7 BR Rem. No problem taking out 150 meter turkeys and 200 meter rams. Adjustments always the same no drift. Nice, bright sight picture. Absolute minimum parallex. To squeeze every bit of accracy out of the gun I also mounted an anti-cant device, (a bubble level), on this scope. This is one rock solid scope.
