This grip bushing went ...

This grip bushing went onto a Taurus PT-1911 that the screw was frozen into. On this particular frame, the threaded portion of the screw didn't protrude into the magazine. I used blue locktite(medium) to secure it. The finish was good, as was the quality.

As noted in the product description "May require fitting to specific gun." On a Springfield "Black Stainless" 1911-A1, the threaded portion extends into the magazine well creating a binding interference during magazine insertion and extraction. This condition can be remedied by removing material from the threaded end of the bushing.
