Product Information

These steel clips install on the side of your handgun. The clip hooks on a belt or waistband to prevent the gun from sliding down. No modifications to your gun are required.

Technical Information

Material: Steel

Finish: Blue or stainless steel depending on model

Features: allows carry of firearm without a holster. Clip secures firearm to belt. Firearm is carried inside the waistband.

Gunsmithing Required: No, however minor disassembly of firearm is required with some models.

Notes:

Model-specific clipdraws attach directly to the particular handgun.

Universal fit clipdraws - the clip mounting plate attaches to the handgun with 3M Very High Bond double-coated tape. This tape can be peeled off the frame or slide, but it has extremely high bonding strength.

Clipdraws for S&W revolvers attach with longer sideplate screws (supplied with the clipdraw). Taurus sideplate screws use a different thread than S&W, so these clipdraws will not fit Taurus.

Glock clipdraws and Universal clipdraws for semi-automatics can be mounted on the right or left side of the handgun. All other clipdraws are for right hand use/carry only.

I carry 24/7 for a living.... everywhere. Bought 1 a little over 3 months ago. Works so well, I bought 2 more.Great if you wear loose pants. Now, ordering 2 for my dad. Definately worth the $20.

I carry a Ruger LCP ...

I carry a Ruger LCP because it is easily concealable with the type of clothing we wear in Arizona. However, with a holster, that is not always the case. Thought I would give Clipdraw a try, and I am amazed. I usually carry in an appendix carry and firearm security has always been my first concern. With Clipdraw the firearm stays where I put it no matter what activity I am engaged in. The unit securely attaches to my Ruger LCP and gives me confidence that my firearm will stay where I put it. I have moved it to several different guns, and the adhesives have left no marks after removal. This product does what it says and I highly recommend it.

I mounted this on my Taurus 709 slim and it works great. It holds tight enough to where the pistol doesn't bounce around. If you want to carry inside the waistband this is perfect.

Amazing!!I did not think ...

Amazing!!I did not think it would work so well.I put it on my Llama sub-compact 45acp(heavy gun) works like a dream.Super secure and bonds so good it almost seems to be part of the gun.Extra adhesive strips and cleaner to move it to another gun.Great buy!!!!

I was skeptical about how ...

I was skeptical about how well a tape on clip would perform, expecting the clip to peel off the first time I used it (the J-frame S&W revolver model screws securely on to the frame). This clip works very well on a Kahr PM9 (compact, semi-auto), and remains securely attached after months of use (shooting, cleaning and carry). The benefit of this item is that it eliminates the need for a pocket or inside the pants holster. It performs as advertised and I will continue using it on the Kahr (I bought a couple extra to try on other pistols). I have also used the type designed for J-frame revolvers, and it also works as advertised, but I find a flat semi-auto with an internal striker or bobbed hammer to be the most comfortable to carry and easiest to present.

I must admit, I was ...

I must admit, I was cynical that this would work. But it does work exactly as advertised. I installed it on my Springfield XD-9 Sub and now I have no need for a holster. Clipdraw even adds lots of little things that they didn't have to, like half a dozen alcohol prep pads and several extra strips of mounting tape (in case you screw up or want to change it to another gun). A great deal for the price, and a quality product. Absolutely ideal for IWB carry.
