The Gold Medal Seater Die features a micrometer adjustment knob so that bullet depth can be precisely set and reset. The micrometer is connected to a free floating and self centering bullet seating system and has a convenient bullet loading window for easy loading. Shellholder sold separately.

I really like this die. I switch to it from a regular RCBS seating die. This is far superior. Not only is the adjustment easier to perform, it is repeatable which is very handy when I switch between bullet types. I would recommend skipping the lower end dies and just going with this. The extra $50-60 is worth it. Seems to be more repeatable than the standard die. The side loading window is really nice and I like it better than dropping the bullet in the case mouth. Also, it works great with my RCBS progressive. I recommend this to everyone who reloads.

This is one piece reloading equipment you will not be disappointed in. Not only does it simply the bullet seating process, but it does so with great precision. I got mine as a Christmas present from my wife and I absolutely love it. 5 stars.

Although I am new to reloading, this tool is very easy to use. It is easy to make an adjustment to the seating depth without using any tools, by simply turning the thimble.

I have been reloading precision long range rounds for some time. These RCBS Competition seaters are the best I've found. Comparable to the Redding Comp seater, but the ability to drop the bullet through the side window makes it that much better. I've gotten 1/4" groups at 100 yards with these dies (If I do my part). You won't regret buying this die.

The loading window is a great feature. Keeps the bullet nice and straight. Length adjustment is very precise. The only down side is this is spendy. The regular competition seater is almost $50 cheaper but doesn't have the full float bullet seater. Also, in the tech specs Midway says that this die applies a roll crimp which it does not. That's a good thing though.
