The MTM 100-Round Ammo Box Foam Insert is the perfect accessory for any MTM 100-Round ammunition box. The 1/2" foam liner is great to help reduce rattle and protect bullet tips from deformation. Large enough to fit the biggest 100 round boxes, the foam can easily be cut with scissors to the perfect size for any MTM ammo box.

Not for 100 Round Ammo Box

I purchased these to use with the MTM 100 Round Ammo Box> which said I wouldn't need to cut down to size to fit. How wrong could that be? One package makes 4 which I had to cut to fit.

I shoot SASS and carry the 100 round MTM cases in 44 caliber. This box carries 50, 44 special rounds for pistols and 50, 44 magnum caseloads for my Marlin '94. These foam inserts come big and must be cut with scissors to fit which is done quickly and easily. Though I carry two lengths of cartridges in the same box, these foam inserts keep all from moving and remove all noise. The lids require a minor more to close but not much. I have been well pleased and will buy more.

Bought two of these. Cost plus shipping not a big loss, but will not make that mistake again. They don't fit well in the red or green MTM 100 round boxes. They poke out too much, trimming could fix, but that's not what I was expecting. I would have been better off stuffing the bubble wrap in there.

These work pretty well, ...

These work pretty well, but do need to be cut down to fit in the flip-top MTM cases. Also too thick to fit long-seated rounds in the flip-tops. Otherwise, a good product. With .223 ammunition loaded to mag-length, the bullets poke into the foam just enough to keep them fixed, and safe in case the box turns over in transit.

Works as advertised and keeps the bullets from rattling around too much in the box. I have used the foam insert for .22-250, .30-06 and .223 long-loaded rounds and although the bullet tips stick into the foam when the lid is closed - there is no problem with tip distortion.
