Tried all 5 in my Springfield XDm and they all jammed... I would not recommend them for use in those at least.

check in your gun before using

I had to drive the 1st round out of my Springfield XDm with a wooden dowel. It jammed my gun. I had to sand all the rounds to make them fit.
I will say that the rounds fit in my Glock 17 without sanding.
My suggestion is to check them in your barrel prior to using.

Bought these to practice ...

Bought these to practice for USPSA and SCSA shooting, fast magazine changes, dry firing, and tap rack drills. I like them for the fact that the snap cap actually catches the firing pin. Many other brands do not and while my CZ is supposed to be good for thousands of dry firings these snap caps will extend the life of the firing pin.Four stars instead of five because of a couple of problems:-The stamped "9mm" on the side of the cartridge raised the surrounding metal just a bit and a couple rounds out of ten would not chamber at first. A bit of emery cloth and they were ok. I wrote the manufacturer and they very responsive which impressed me.-The dark red color makes them hard to find in the grass.-The aluminum is very soft and wears leaving some small flakes in the action. Careful cleaning and a quick shot of compressed air removes them.I have another brand of snap caps and they do not support the firing pin at all, so I like the Carlson Red Snap Caps the best.

The Snap Caps are very well made and function excellently in my semi-auto pistols. I have a negative opinion of them when I tried to use them in my revolver. The diameter and length of the casings are too large to fit in the cylinder of my Ruger Blackhawk 9mm. I managed to get one to fit by filing the diameter and machining the front edge of the casing. Too much work, so I used another brand of Snap Caps in my revolver and only use these in my semi's.
