Although this product ...

Although this product works to reduce vibration, mine melted when it came in contact with gun cleaning solvent. I don't know which solvent caused the problem. My Limbsaver recoil pad, made of the same material, was also affected and disintegrated. The gunsmith I had replace the recoil pad said Limbsaver products were susceptible to melting if they come in contact with solvents.

This seems like a gimmick but I can assure everyone reading this that these things really work especially on guns that have a tendency to group shots in two different places. I have them on nearly every rifle I own including 22's.

This product works amazingly. It did take me a few bullets to finally get it sighted in but the improvement was astounding. I went from a 1.0-1.5 inch grouping to less than a 0.5 inch grouping.

Bought this product to reduce muzzle jump on my .340, wow did it ever work. The rifle is now fairly comfortable and predictable to shoot off the bench, groups are also very consistent. The biggest benefit that I saw was a reduction in my flinch, it really helped me out.

I was about to sell my Remington 700 Stainless in .270 Win because I was unhappy with the accuracy. On a whim I ordered this de-resonator and took the rifle to the range. To my amazement the rifle shot near one hold groups with FACTORY ammo. What a pleasant surprise. I recommend this for all rifles with light weight barrels.

I have a Browning Hunter ...

I have a Browning Hunter A-Bolt 30-06 that regularly shoots MOA with Hornady 165 grain SST Light Magnums. I am a skeptic when it comes to some of the gadgets that are out there on the market making claims that usually aren't accurate ... but I bought and installed this funny looking "thing" on my barrel about 1" from the stock and proceeded to shoot several 3 shot sub-MOA groups (3/4" to 1/2"). I could literally pick a 1" square on the target @100 yds and place 3 shots in tight groups within the square (several times "cutting" the other bullet holes). One of the fellow patrons at the range began explaining to me how to adjust my scope to "zero" in on the bull not realizing that I was actually aiming for the inside of the 1" blocks (HA!). I explained this to him, told him to pick a block on the target and then proceeded to place 3 rounds inside it. Not sure exactly how this works but it improved the accuracy of my rifle. I plan to keep it on the rifle even though it looks silly. It really does work and I'm sold.

Simply stated - WOW - It really works. Bench shooting Remi Core-Lokt & Federal Fusion 30-06 150gr from a Savage 111FCNS was yielding 2-3" groups, at best. After installation, was consistently grouping at 1.5" and once punched three overlapping holes at 100 yards.

I own a .243 Tikka that ...

I own a .243 Tikka that shoots fairly well, however when using hot loads with fairly light bullets the groups were not the best (2"-3"). I saw these advertised on TV and looked for them on Midway's site. I figured it might be worth a try. I ordered 2 of them and so far have tried one on the earlier mentioned .243. It worked great, I can now shoot the hotter lighter bullets with groups about the size of a quarter or smaller.

I was about to trade in my savage 116 fhsak {muzzle brake on from factory} 7mm mag. for poor accuracy, (3 shots 1.5-2.0 inch or more) after 10 boxes of all types of ammo and manufacturers trying to find out the best ammo for that rifle. Hornady, Remington, Winchester. None worked good enough for me until I bought this de-resonator for and installed it on the barrel 1/10 to the stock and took the rifle to the range. What a surprise when using 2 different ammo I got 0.8 inch 3 shots with Double tap 140 grns, and an unbelievable for my gun till today 6 bullets into 1.1/10 square inch with Black hills ammo 162 grns A max AT 100 YARDS.

I have never written a review for anything but I have to for this.Was shooting 40 gr noslers out of my CZ527 lux .22 hornet and best group out of ten groups of 5 was 2" . I put the deresonator on and started firing 5 shot groups moving 1/2" at a time from the stock forward..arrived at 7" from end of barrel to tip of unit and groups went steadily tighter. Final confirmed group was 3/4" with 10 shots.I'm a believer !
