I bought this mag for hunting. I used it at the range today and ran 70 rounds through it. It worked great no hic-ups or jams. I was using it in an AR SW M&P carbine. I did find that when the bolt is closed it was harder to get the mag to clip in place. With bolt open it was an easy slide in and click! This mag is well made, will get a couple of more. Have a safe hunting season.

It is what they say it is. A great way to be sure you can put no more than 5 rounds in your AR to remain compliant where hunting laws require. Zero failures so far.

Have 2 of these, one ...

Have 2 of these, one looks like the picture (angled floor plate) the other has a floor plate that is almost parallel with the lips. I don't know if there was a design change or a different model, but both are 5 rounds and both say AR Stoner on the floorplate. The latter just popped the top rear spot weld while at the range today rendering it useless. The other seems to be in good shape and both fed well before the spot weld popped. I've used these mags twice, so they haven't been abused. Hopefully the other one holds up because it does slide in and out of the lower smoothly.

I have several AR-Stoner magazines of 5, 10, 20 and 30 round capacities, and all of them function perfectly in my Technical Innovations T-15 lower receiver with a DPMS 223 Remington upper. I highly recommend these mags.

I just received my two AR-Stoner mags and could not be happier with my purchase. They both function flawlessly in my Rock River Arms ATH rifle. The fit and finish are as good as anyone could ask for, and the welds are perfect. The anti-tilt folowers are as good as the magpuls in my 30 round mags. If you are looking for a high quality magazine at a great price then don't look any further, just buy a AR-Stoner magazine, you'll be glad you did.

I clipped one complete ...

I clipped one complete ring off of the magazine spring and it was a world of difference when putting the 5 round charged mag into my S&W M&P Sporter on a closed bolt. Before it required an effort to get it to click into place. I have not used it yet but I will report back here if there are any problems.
