These moon clips work ...

These moon clips work great in my Ruger SP-101 in 9mm. Much easier to load and unload than the stock Ruger clips. I am ordering more.

This clip will not work on a Taurus 905 out of the box! In order for it to function you MUST dremel the inside of the moon clip for about 10 seconds. That is all you need; an even 10 seconds around the center hole. Now, it will fire but not perfectly. Somtimes the thickness makes it jam. If you want the clips to work perfectly, without any rubbing you must also file the front and back of each clip to remove the black coating. This takes a while and I would not suggest it if you are only using the clip for the range. BUT if you carry and want to use these moon clips take the time to sand them down or buy something else. The guy who said that he just bought them and used them is simply not telling the truth! Maybe he read it somewhere and wanted to post like he knew what he was talking about. But I own a 905 and have used these moon clips, but it will take some modification.

OK, I am using these on my Taurus 905, here is the main difference, the Taurus clips are .020 thick, these are .035 thick. Now depending on the tolerances on your Taurus depends on if these will work. On mine I had to polish them down till they were .033 and then they worked fine. I hope this helps the others that are thinking of using these with the Taurus 905.

After the center is opened alittle and the sides sanded down to make thinner it works fine in my 905. The product works well to hold the 9mm shells.

After reading all the reviews to figure out whether these would or wouldn't fit my Taurus 905, and after seeing half say "yes, they will" with the other half saying "no, they won't", I sent for two packs. They arrived VERY quickly. And "No, they won't." The clips' star-shaped center "holes" are just a hair too small to fit correctly over the round hub of the 905's ejector. Can't be force-fitted on, either, not that you would want to. Clips (or hub) could be modified, I suppose, but they don't fit straight out of the package. Bummer! The Ranch clips look like better quality material than the original Taurus clips that came with my revolver and the Ranch clips do hold the cartridges firmly.

Thought I would Try them in the Taurus 905 As stated above these DO NOT WORK well. They are too thick and don't let the cylinder rotate smoothly.

These do not fit my Taurus. Too small in the center. I tried to dremel the middle out a little and took the burrs off too but they are too thick to turn well in the cylinder and bind it up some.

THESE MOON CLIPS WILL WORK ON A 905 TAURUS I JUST TOOK A FEW THOUSANDS OFF OF THE INSIDE POINTS WITH A DREMIL TOOL WITH A SANDING WHEEL AND THE CLIPS FIT THE HUB ON THE CYLINDER WORKS GREAT.
