Great product here. Fully ...

Great product here. Fully adjustable and great sight picture. Two things you should know: it does require minor stoning/sanding/filing for perfect fit, but that's how it's supposed to be. And it is a MIM (Metal Injection Molded) part. Seeing as this is not a load-bearing or heat-exposed part, it's not a problem, but if you hate MIM then beware. Honestly though this is quality and worth every cent!

Just got this part in the mail & found out I must have the National Match Rear Base to make it work. I called Springfield Armory and they confirmed this will not work on a Standard rear sight base.

Excellent product, took about 45 minutes of being a Man to get it properly fitted to the sight base, and surprise, surprise- outstanding results. If you're an "easy way out I'm too sissy or impatient to work on something" kind of person, then this is not your product.

Took some minor fitting to fine tune it to the sight base and that's the way it should be. If it's made by Krieger then it is high quality, same as their barrels.

This is an excellent sight, legal for NRA Service Rifle competition. Custom fitting (stoning/sanding) of the sides of the rack must be done to properly and accurately fit your sight base.

After 3 1/2 hours of hand ...

After 3 1/2 hours of hand fitting, it works reasonably well. About .004 off each side and approx. .009 off the slide to get a proper match fit. The only thing I really don't like and can't adjust or fix is the peep aperture sets cockeyed on the base, due to a loose fit and the way it is spring tensioned. Less than .002 but for me, that is marginal quality. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend, unless the friend is a gunsmith. Last thing, the gear teeth are a little longer than mil. spec. causing a drag on some sight bases. I went thru 4 before finding a fit.
