Product Information

This tri-rail mount attaches to the front end of a shotgun on the magazine tube. It attaches with two screws and no modification is needed. Fits 1" magazine tubes and is constructed of aluminum.

I like the LaserLyte Tri-Rail on my Mossberg 500 J.I.C., but I heeded the previous reviews, taking care to not scratch the magazine tube and to not overtighten the two fine-threaded small bolts.

The actual mount is very nice aluminum. The problem is that it has a chance of scratching your magazine tube while sliding it on. The biggest problem is that the hex screws are the wrong size. I've read on many forums that EVERY set comes with an incorrect size hex. Therefore it tightens to a point then strips out. What a hassle.

Great product. I purchased it to complement my new Mossberg heat shield for my 590A1 and it works great. The holes match up perfectly, if only the heat shield fit the heavy barrel of the 590A1. But the aluminum construction of the rail is a great addition to the shotgun.

I mounted it on a Mossberg 590 with the heat shield. The tri-mount holes are perfectly spaced to match those on the forward end of the heat shield, so both the tri-rail and the front of the heat shield are secured with the screws provided. Simply squeeze the heat shield lips together and slide the tri-mount over the outside to align the holes and use the original heat shield spacer block between it all to maintain standoff from the bayonet lug band as originally designed for the heat shield. The down side is that you have to loosen the screws to remove the barrel from the shotgun, so eventually the threads will strip. Need to plan ahead for this and have longer screws and nuts available.

Mounts nicely on my Mossberg 500A Persuader, but the rails are too close together. I tried to mount a tactical light, laser and sling mount, however, the tri rail would not accommodate these. The rails need more spacing for my needs and very probably most situations.

It looks too simple to work well but it does. I got it mounted to the mag extension on my Mossberg 835 and it works great. It also looks very shiny and black. totally worth the money if you're wanting to put on lights and stuff to your shotgun.

Fits stock Mossberg 500 mag tube perfectly. Very sturdy and easy to install. When using side mounts, screws might get in the way of slide-on rail accessories. I used with a NcStar Tactical Quick-release light, great combo; but can only mount on bottom.
