I own about a half dozen of these and found that some fail to engage the bolt catch when the mag is emptied. Upon inspection, I noticed the follower on the ones that fail to catch is marked "ASC". The ones that work perfectly have no marking on the follower. The mags that fail to engage the bolt catch have a lot of fore and aft movement in the follower. I disassembled them and attached a small nylon bumper to the front of the follower to reduce the play and keep it held back just a little. I put a small amount of lube on the follower also. Now they engage the bolt catch every time. Other than that small problem, these mags work great.

I have a Spike's lower that this Stoner and the ASC brand does not fit well. It'll go in...but getting it out is another matter. I have a heavy duty grinder and Dremmel that worked pretty well on the edges and sides; used 600 grit w/sander to smooth & polish it up, then got some spray Jasco remover and the remaining paint melted off. I then used Alum*h*d* Coyote to re-paint and baked them for an hour @ 290. They now work flawless and match my color scheme. For me and my rifle, these were a starting point. With only two manufacturers, Ya do what Ya have to do to get them working.. it was a fun/worthwhile project anyway.

Flawless magazine. 30th round is a bit difficult but nothing a little lube can't fix. These are essentially ASC mags, but they're at a great price. Buy them while you can!

Finally: a reliable 7.62x39 AR mag! These are well made and priced right and they actually WORK. If your AR doesn't reliably fire third world garbage ammo, consider the MGI bolt assembly (Product #: 934040) for a huge improvement in reliability.

These are very well-made x39 mags...I am using these in my 6.5 Grendel to fire form since the case angle is still the same....they run without a hitch!

Very well made mag, heavier then a standard 5.56. took it apart and cleaned and oiled it and after a few reloads and getting it brokein it works flawlessly. For the price you can beat it.

These clips are pretty good I got one not too long ago and it does like 2-4 miss feeds, and it actually holds 32 bullets instead of 30. Over all this clip is worth it.
