ProMag magazine bodies are constructed of high carbon heat-treated steel and TIG-welded for strength. The springs are precision wound using heat-treated chrome silicon wire. Bases and followers are injection molded from polymers selected for their durability. The result is quality, consistency, durability and reliability.

These feed okay with some ...

These feed okay with some ammo, but not with others. Will not lock slide open on last round in CW40, though the factory 6-round mag does and feeds everything I've tried with it. Stick with the factory mags for carry, not these.

Does not specify that the length is about 1" too long for the K40 Covert. Similar to the 6 rnd mag that comes with the pistol except no nice trim piece to rest your pinky on. Nice fit and finish otherwise but no metal pad on the follower.As stated before, the follower does not have the metal protrusion. The slide catch on my k40 covert was sliding off. Worthless for anything other than plinking. I'm sending them back.

Had to use tools to get it out of my Kahr K9. Then I placed it in the inactive junk and parts bin under my work bench.

Do not try these for a ...

Do not try these for a Kahr P40 which is the same dimensions as the K40. All five of mine caused my pistol to jam consistently! Not sure if it was a bad batch or simply not made for my poly frame.
