This product worked exactly as advertised! Brass consistently ejects to the right and installation was pretty quick and easy. It's a major improvement over the stock extractor.

My wife has recently become interested in shooting, and has started with the P22. The only problem we have had is the direction that spent casings were being ejected. After a day of shooting, her chest and face/neck would have burn marks from the shell. I bought this extractor, and took about 10 minutes or less to install. I put approximately 300 rounds through it today, and the extractor works flawlessly. I literally put a bucket on the ground and had all my casings hit it like a bullseye. This is truly a simple part that puts the joy back in the P22.

FAIL! don't buy this, ...

FAIL! don't buy this, bought this to upgrade my P22 and it doesn't extract at all now, put factory extractor back in. Not sure if this is for the competition P22"s or what but my regular P22 doesn't like this thing at all.

This extractor works ...

This extractor works better than the Walther original. Empty cases now go consistently out to the right. I put it on and shot 300 rounds without a single empty case hitting me in the head. I finally enjoy shooting the little Walther again. And I did use the longer supplied spring. Had no trouble with it and it puts a bit more tension on the extractor. Comparing this extractor to the original Walther one it seems that the inside of the hook sits closer to the breach face leaving less wiggle room for the case. It does the trick!

1 star missing for sping could not use spring too long, coils too far apart. Coils would catch on edge insde slide. I used with factory spring, works great.

This product will greatly reduce jams due to the extractor. I put one on my Ruger 10/22 (which would jam about 1 out of 250 rounds or so) and I have not had a jam since I installed it. The story is the same with my Walther P22.
