Designed by experienced guide and imaginative knife maker Russ Komer, the Packer Series knives were conceived on the unforgiving frontiers of Alaska. The unique handle design and blade shapes maximize cutting efficiency and reduce wrist fatigue. This semi-skinner is perfect for just what the name implies: quickly and smoothly skinning killed game. Though these knives were most certainly designed with the outdoorsman in mind, they also feature genuine stag handles and a beautifully crafted leather sheath. The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation edition sports burl handles with a laser engraved REMF logo on the bolsters and a functional nylon sheath. Browning has done it again with a knife series that exemplifies function meeting form; the Packer will turn heads regardless of what you are doing or wherever you are.
