The Hornady Lock-N-Load Bullet Comparator is perfect for the reloader looking to quickly and precisely measure seating depth of loaded ammunition from the bullet ogive to the base of a loaded round, to eliminate variation in seating depth. This caliber specific Bullet Comparator Insert is required to use the tool, and are available from 172 Diameter all the way up 458 Diameter. The Comparator Inserts allow you to measure the bullet from the base of the cartridge to a specific point on the ogive, which has little to no variation. When used in conjunction with the Hornady Lock-N-Load Overall Length Gage (Sold Separately) the reloader is able to determine the exact bullet seating depth for the ultimate precision.
