ProMag magazine bodies are constructed of high carbon heat-treated steel and TIG-welded for strength. The springs are precision wound using heat-treated chrome silicon wire. Bases and followers are injection molded from polymers selected for their durability. The result is quality, consistency, durability and reliability.

Do yourself a favor and get this mag for your Mini-14. I've used dozens of other mags (Triple K, Western, USA, etc) during the ban. All other mags are pure trash compared to this Promag. I recently came across a couple new-in-box Ruger factory 20rd mags (hard to get even now since Ruger won't sell to public). But, after trying this one, wished I'd saved my money. Fit and function is identical to the Ruger factory 20rd. If it weren't for the Ruger stampings, this could be taken as an original mag. Flawless feeding at rapid fire, slow fire, cheap ammo, good ammo, etc. You Mini-14 owners know how hard it is to find good mags, Well, here they are. Buy as many as you can afford.

I received my ProMag 20 round Mini-14 magazine and I am disappointed. The materials and workmanship appear to be first rate. However, I could NOT get the thing to lock-in. I have several original Ruger 20 round mags that work flawlessly but, I couldn't get the ProMag to work.

These clips are the best! I have used the Ruger brand clips and they are great clips, but these clips are just as good, and better price! I heartily recommend these clips.

These magazines work flawlessly in my 188 Mini. Could not ask for more. For those of you referring to magazines as clips...don't. If you do not know the difference, look it up.

Got 3 of these and immediately loaded up the cheap brass metal case ammo and started to fire. The second round immediately jammed, then the 5th and then 9th and then... perfect. Then shot over 400 rounds using all three clips and all different ammo from 5.56 military rounds to the good stuff and back to the cheap stuff. Then I loaded 20 rounds in each and stored them for a week. I just fired all three clips and emptied perfectly. If my life depended on it I am loading the Ruger factory clip but these may actually be a good alternative. Comparing the Pro Mag to the Ruger clip they look / feel identical. The only noticeable difference in quality is that the Rugar feels slightly smoother, quieter and steady when testing spring tension.

Magazine will physically ...

Magazine will physically fit 21 rounds. I did not realize this and was having trouble seating mags and denting the case of the top round as it was easy to fit all 21 rounds in the mag. Put the correct number of rounds in it and it will be fine, mags are long enough to allow heavier grain 223 without the nose getting caught up on the mag body.Function great, no issues.

Stay away from these mags, they are garbage. I bought three and only one of the three would seat.Additionally, the mags arrived covered in corrosion where they were welded, I had to completely disassemble all three, clean and oil. Since I can't use the "S" word in this review, I will tell you these mags are a real piece of 'fecal' matter. I'm sending them back and would review them with a negative star rating if such a thing were possible. I don't blame MidwayUSA, they have always beeen superb in every respect.
