Crystal clear amplification of low level sounds while compressing and blocking out harmful noise. The advanced circuitry delivers constant sound amplification without cutting out, allowing you to hear clearly even as a gun is being fired.

The dual microphones deliver true stereo sound improving ability to localize sound. Independent volume adjustment allows for compensation between left and right ears. DualDensity Foam (DDF) Technology delivers 21 NRR to provide a high degree of passive sound protection from gunfire and other loud noise.

Headband is padded and lined with SoftFleece fabric to remain comfortable during extended use. Run time approximately 250 hours. Dual LED lights indicate power on status. Battery compartments in each earcup are easily accessible and hold 3 AAA batteries each (not included). Low profile design and durable soft touch finish helps protect against gunstock contact. Compact, collapsible design allows for convenient storage and transport.

The muffs seem to work well and the volume can be turned up or down as needed. However, it is easy to get a high pitched squeel when the muffs are taken off. It is loud enough that people can heare it from 10-20 feet. I would recommend this with explanation of the problem. For the price it is good.

Purchased these on reviews from others. After trying these at home, we went to the range. Temps were in the high teens. In unfolding the ears, the plastic pin on one ear broke. Since I didn't stress the ears the only thing I can surmise was the cold weather and plastic don't mix. The volume knobs were almost impossible to turn in the cold also. These will be returned.

I have used these for about 1 yr. with no problems. (except one of the foam ring vinal split, which could have been my fault!) They do the job, as described. I have had to replace the battries twice, but I use them about 2 times a wk.

I order two of these. One set works well at amplification, but one of the volume knobs is difficult to turn. The second unit came with one side non-functional. The three knobs other than the problematic one are fine (though one side failed.) I'll be returning them for another pair, since I like them otherwise.

I have several different ones and this by far is my preferred. The audio levels work fast and you can hear everything on the range. Work so well that you just leave them on even at "Range Cold" times. A+ in my book.

I was very pleased with the overall quality and performance of these muffs. I spend a fair amount of time at an inside range and the less expensive models just weren't very effective as they were almost constantly "cutting out" due to the frequent shots. These muffs clip the sound of the shot while still amplifying low level sounds, making them ideal for anyone that spends a fair amount of time on the range or frequents indoor facilities. For the price, they are a tremendous value!
