This fully CNC machined and checkered (30 LPI) mainspring housing is a perfect addition to a 1911 with a high ride beavertail grip safety because it forces your hand firmly into the safety so that you experience less muzzle climb during recoil. The V-Grip also makes the pistol point a little higher which often speeds up target acquisition time. For the Government and Commander models only. Drop-in, no fitting required.
