This super tool is a must for forend installations and changes. It is very solid and cost effective as this tool works on multiple manufacturers shotguns. Made an upgrade to my Remington 870 Tactical nearly effortless.

I recently received my Menck Mark 3 shotgun fore end tool. This baby is the one. Now, just the ONE tool, fits the following shot guns. Browning BPS plus the 10 gauge, New style Ithaca 37, Mossberg 500, Rem. 870 large and small frame, S&W 3000, Win. 1200 and 1300, some types Police guns. Here is the clicker. Remove the magazine nut, slide the barrel off, the tool fits OVER the mag tube, remove the hollow nut on the forearm. Otherwise, as you know, you end up taking the gun apart to slide the forearm assmy off in one piece. Lots of extra work and time spent. Slide the new forearm in place, tighten the hollow nut, reinstall the barrel, done! Trigger group and receiver intact in most cases. After I got this tool, I just threw the old tool away. Tool is built like a tank. It's probably built much heavier than it needs to be for most applications but it will break any forend nut loose and would strip it out before the wrench ever gave way. I highly recommend it.
