Sharp, easy to use

I bought this product to remove the crimp on my 30-06 military brass. It is sharp and easy to use. A very simple tool, you will, however want a handle for it. Handle is inexpensive as well.

I bought this to remove the crimp on lake city brass for the 30.06 and 308 Winchester and it works perfectly, and removes the crimp for reloading the brass. Along with the uniformer from RCBS they are both high quality and make prepping my cases a lot faster. Would purchase again!

I don't usually post reviews, but this works just like advertised. I usually ruin 5 to 6 primers when priming military 308 brass. After using the Hornady tool, all 100 seated like their in commercial brass. I will be ordering another set of these soon.

I should have copied and pasted my review of the small reamer because my feeling are the same for this one. Overall works well, just be careful not to work the primer pocket more than necessary. Also suggest a primer pocket uniformer as a follow-up to this tool to ensure a good proper fit of your primers. See my review on the other one for the tool I use.

Used this on about 1000 pieces of Lake City 308 brass. It does a great job of removing the crimp, but in my case it does not bevel the pocket like the small version does on my LC 223 brass. Not too big of a deal as I used my RCBS chamfer tool to add the bevel, but it'd be nice to do it all in one step.

If you have 7.62x51 once ...

If you have 7.62x51 once fired brass you need this, it quickly removes the crimp from the primer pocket and adds a nice taper. It's one of those things that if you have it you can't do without it. You can attach it to any tool handle that is used in reloading or put it on an cordless screwdriver and knock out some casings fast. Gonna order a couple more of them.
