its simple, easy to use, and its dirt cheap.

This system is the way to go if you are on a budget and wanting to trim a large volume of brass. You will need a electric drill and some sort of vice, or the Lee Zip Trim (I have no experience with that product). Do yourself a favor and buy the optional wooden ball cutter, or you could make a handle for the included cutter.

I bought this to trim a couple hundred 9x19mm cases to make 9mm makarov cases. I had to cut the deburring tool down with a hack saw to work with with that short of case length, but aside from that it worked great. Since then, I've trimmed quite a bit of .30-30 and .30-06 also with good results. It actually makes trimming cases quite a bit faster than with a traditional style tool, though some more expensive tools may be slightly more precise.

Its not perfect, but it's very hard to complain when you compare the price of this product to other trimmers on the market. I see no reason to upgrade.

I purchased this kit to make sure my cases are consistent in length and that the primer pockets are clean. The cutter works well and is even faster when a drill motor is used. I only use it for pistol cases and it is not necessary to prep the cases after each time I fire them. I give this product an A+ for price and function.
