In addition to their sophisticated optics, the APO-Televid 82 is persuasively attractive due to its robustly engineered mechanics, design, and extraordinarily compact form. They offer a wide field of view and deliver images with excellent color fidelity and sharpness as well as maximum contrast with the 25-50x Aspheric eye piece (sold separately). Leica's dual focus system with micro-focusing enables particularly rapid and precise focusing. You can experience the intensity of nature at great distances, and will always be in the heart of the action without having to get too close. The rubber-armored magnesium housing makes the spotting scopes extremely rugged, no matter what weather condition they are used in. Their dirt and water repellent Aqua Dura coatings ensure a clearer view at all times, while their nitrogen filling reliability prevents internal fogging.
