Product Information

The Knoxx CompStock is a replacement stock that dramatically reduces felt recoil. An internal system of rollers and springs reduces peak recoil by over 50 percent, making even the heaviest magnums a delight to shoot. Based on a Hogue overmolded stock, the CompStock features a fiberglass skeleton and overmolded rubber surface that make it as durable as it is comfortable.

Notes:
  • Overmolded stock is made by Hogue, then fitted with the Knoxx CompStock recoil reduction system
  • Intended to be a drop in installation, but may require minor fitting
  • Stock has straight comb, ambidextrous palm swells, varmint-style forend, buttpad
  • Stock has front sling swivel stud but rear swivel stud is mounted more forward than typical, as it would interfere with the action of the recoil reduction system if it were at the rear of the stock

    Recoil Reduction System:
  • Housed inside the butt
  • Uses an assembly with a roller, cam lever and extension spring
  • When firearm is fired, the inner section of the buttstock moves rearward into the outer section of the buttstock, cushioning recoil
