Product Information

The classic "Green-box" ammunition that shooters and hunters have trusted for years. Remington makes ammunition for nearly every need. The Core-Lokt bullet design is the original controlled-expansion bullet and one of the most effective ever developed. Its progressively tapered copper jacket is locked to a solid lead core, promoting perfectly controlled expansion, deep penetration and high weight retention for dependable results. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

1" groups at 100yds out of my Remington 700. Winchester Ballistic silvertip groups slightly better but dont perform as well on game in my opinion. CoreLokt is absolutely devastating on NC whitetails

I had 3 in. groups at 100 yds. With this ammo from my Browning A-Bolt. I consistently get 1-1.5 in. groups with other factory ammo. Very disappointing.

Core-Lokts are known for controlled expansion and good weight retention. I have killed deer with these at short and long ranges(approx. 40 yards - approx. 250 yards) and can say they do generally expand and hold together well as long as large bone is not struck. Have had good exit wounds and heavy blood trails. My only complaint about these is in my Rem 700 with Nikon glass is they wont group better than 2.5 inches at 100 yards. That's good enough for a hunting round but I normally can get sub-moa at 100 yards with Silvertips and Power Max Bonded.

This load shoots exceptionally well out of my Tikka T3 Lite. Achieved 1/2" groups @ 100 yards and was able to consistently hit 10" targets out to 500 yards. Have shot one large 5 point Mule deer at 265 yards with complete pass through. The buck dropped DRT like lightning had struck it. Great ammo for my uses. Core-Lokts are the deadliest mushrooms in the woods.

I shoot a Win. Model 70 ...

I shoot a Win. Model 70 300WSM, and found this ammo to surpass accuracy of more expensive loads and brands. It is a good value. My groups are about .6" at 100 yards. When using on white-tailed deer I found this load to permanently knock down game every time. I used this on 4 deer and each deer ran between 20 - 50 yards, which surprised me considering the caliber and shot placement. Most of my shooting was at close range averaging around 75 yards. I never have had an exit wound with this ammunition, leading me to believe that this ammunition exploded on impact. However, I never lost any game from this ammunition. I would recommend going with 165 grain for close range white-tailed deer, as I feel the 150 is borderline too hot for close range hunting.

This ammo put three in the same hole, so it speaks for itself.All of my trophies have been taken with CoreLokt 150's. That includes a Mouflon ram, three Axis bucks & a 15 point Whitetail with a drop tine.

I was very surprised with this ammo. It shot very good in my Encore custom 300 wsm. Very consistent ammo sub 1 inch a 100 yds. Excellent ammo at a lower price

this ammo was a huge surprise to me. 3 shot groups of .75" at 100 yards are the norm with my a-bolt hunter. I have tried a lot of high priced ammo in this gun, but never really got the accuracy I wanted until I tried these.

I tried the Remington ammo because they were so much cheaper than the rest but they did not work very well in my Browning A-bolt (3"& 4"groups at 100 yards).
