Slowly but surely Hogue ...

Slowly but surely Hogue grips are getting installed on all of my revolvers and auto pistols.The only gun that does not have Hogue rubber grips is my Vaquero. (It has Hogue Wood grips). But about these grips. I also have these installed on S&W model 10. I used to have a set of Hogue wood grips for my Model 10 but after I saw how well Hogue rubber grips worked on my GP100 I decided to give them a try on my Model 10. They do not look as nice as wood grips but when you go to the range and see how well they work and the tight groups you shoot you will forget about their lackluster appearance. The bottom line is I highly recommend these grips.

Purchased these for a S&W ...

Purchased these for a S&W Model 10-5. Excellent fit, excellent grips. I have Hogue rubber grips on all my handguns, and have never had a problem with any. These grips are well designed, well fitted, and are chemical-resistant to all gun-cleaning solvents I have used, even BBS. Wood grips are not as ergonomic, and tend to translate the shock wave directly to the hands, especially smaller hands, making it a more painful and less enjoyable shooting experience. If you shoot 44 Mags, I believe it is essential to have those. There is no point in showing off how much pain one can take doing this... I wish Hogue made shoes to fit as well as their rubber grips.
