I have this scope on a 7 ...

I have this scope on a 7 Mauser FW Model 70 and have killed many hogs with it. From 25 yards to 125 yards at night by moonlight. I like the magnification ring, moves easily. I dropped it hard a few weeks ago and went to range to check. It hit bullseye with first round, no change, the next 2 were almost touching first. Excellent value, I have Zeiss, VX II, Bushnell Elite, Monarch and others. This scope stands with them.

Have this scope on both ...

Have this scope on both my .308 MX and Marlin .444. Excellent scope, very clear, adjustments are spot on and hold zero from year to year. When I take them out to shoot, I am basically just verifying zero unless working up a new load and then, only slight adjustments needed. I highly recommend this scope.

I bought this scope ...

I bought this scope several years ago from MidwayUSA for my son's Remington 600 Mohawk in .308 Winchester. This is a perfect scope for a compact rifle such as the Mohawk and a great rifle for kids to learn on. He shoots 1" groups with this rifle and scope at 100 yards. Great product regardless of price. Planning to get another for a 8x57mm Mauser Mannlicher I am building.

I had not purchased a new ...

I had not purchased a new scope in well over 20 years and found this 2.5 to 7 power variable to be a wonderful change from a fixed 4 power I had used for many years. I had the low power needed for standing or moving target shots and the extra 7 power instead of only 4 power for the longer range shots with my .22 cal rimfire. Now I can place the shot on the squirrel instead of just hit the squirrel. It has increased the pleasure during what little time I have for my shooting hobby time. My only regret is that I did not do this sooner.

This is one of 2 Weaver V ...

This is one of 2 Weaver V series scopes I have. (The other is a V-3). It is mounted on a Remington 700 long action with Weaver 4x4 rings (190145) and a B-Square base (667079) with not much room to spare. To my eye this scope is optically at leastas good as Leupold II series scopes. 1/4" clicks give you a 1/4". Neither of my Weavers have needed further adjustment after the initial sighting in. This one has only been on the gun for 6 months and about 100 rounds of 8x57s but the V-3 has been on its gun for 5 years and many hundreds of rounds of 30-30. I believe this scope is a very good value for the modest amount of money spent. You won't be disappointed.

Mounted the Weaver on a ...

Mounted the Weaver on a Saiga .223 which, although considered a reliable rifle, does not have a reputation as a "Tack Driver" Experimented with a number of loads and came up with the "Magic" combination. With the Weaver scope I can now shoot consistent 1" groups. The 1/4" adjustments are exactly that: 1/4" click moves point of impact at a hundred yards a quarter inch, period. Optics are crystal clear and the rifle holds it's zero. Overall flawless performance for what I use it for - coyotes and prairie dogs beware!

My nephew has this scope. ...

My nephew has this scope. It does not cost much $ but it does a great job! His Rem 700 will shoot 3 shots into 1 hole at 100 yards which means the scope is doing its job. Clear, pretty good contrast and accurate adjustments. This scope does the job abd does it well for not a whole lot of money.I have Zeiss, Leopold and Nikon scopes that cost 3 times more. They are better scopes -- but not that much better and this scope will do what the hunter or informal plinker / target shooter needs to get done at a very reasonable price. I shoot at the range and go wild pig hunting here in Calif. This scope would be perfect for that. I especially like the low power setting because it is good for those close up running shots we get here. It also can do the job at 200 yards on 7 power. Go buy one!

This scope is an ...

This scope is an excellent value and a quality optic. I put it on a Model 94, 30-30 and my son took his first deer with it. It is clear and bright, with good eye relief. It was a cold day and I purposely breathed on the ocular lens and it cleared in five seconds. I would recommend it for a compact, or ultralight rifle.

I own a Bushnell legend ...

I own a Bushnell legend 2-7x32and have it on a 7mm-08 and am very pleased with it, especially for the price. but I bought a Weaver V series 2.5-7 for my .243 for PA woods hunting and i can only say WOW. this scope is really nice. Crystal clear and sharp optical picture. Easy adjustments and satisfying results when shooting the square plus it looks nice with a superb matte finish and a lifetime warranty. Weaver has done a good job with this scope package and I am very pleased and if anyone reading this is looking for a scope in 2-7 powers, buy this scope and I can assure you that you will most likely be pleased also.
