From the first time I used this ammo, It has been and will be the only round I hunt with. Pronghorn, Mule Deer, and Elk do not go far at all if they dont just pile up insatantly. Work well out to 500 yards and I'm sure even further. 150, 165, and 180 grain bullets are all very good.

I hunt Hogs year round, killed 84 last year use only Federal Nosler Partition 308, 180 grain, only thing I can depend on for real knock down power....

My Dad bought a box of this ammo for a moose hunt and decided to test the results on our Minnesota whitetail. He has shot 2 deer this deer season one doe weighing nearly 200 lbs (2011) and I can tell you first hand this round is absolutely wicked on whitetail the most impressive entry wounds I have ever seen, both his does dropped on the spot! I have to get a box for my browning bar, 30-06 now to see what I can get.

I had never hunted before ...

I had never hunted before in my life, so I researched online what would be the best ammo for boar hunting. After trying this ammo, I'll never use anything else. Shot a 125 lb Russian boar at 50 yards and it dropped where it stood. Upon cleaning the kill, I found that the heart was gone. I don't mean that it was in pieces, I mean it was completely gone. 20 minutes later, I dropped another 100 lb boar at about the same distance. The shot wasn't great and even though I blew out both shoulders, I did not score a direct hit on the vitals. Still, the trauma from passing near the vitals was enough to knock it on its butt and a quick follow-up finished the job.

Outstanding ammunition! With a well-placed neck shot, I dropped a big 3-4 year old doe on the spot with Less than 20 seconds of twitching. Very humane hunting bullet.

I shot a 150 lb wild pig ...

I shot a 150 lb wild pig broadside at 35 yards with this ammo and knocked it on its butt. The shot was not well placed - it was center mass instead of behind the shoulder - but it went right through the pig and it was struggling to get back on its feet, leaving me ample time for a second, final shot. Given the reputation wild pigs have for running away after they've been hit, I'm glad I used this ammo. With some other ammo, I might have had to chase the pig for a while, or even lost it.

I have shot a Bull Elk in ...

I have shot a Bull Elk in the neck and dropped it where it stood at 200 yards, took down an Axis Deer at 90 yards and a couple of pigs with no problem. Bullet expansion is excellent on the round and this is why I give this round a 5 star rating and hope to keep shooting it in the future.
