Just got this base in for ...

Just got this base in for my VSSF .22-250. One word to describe -- perfect. Does not need to be bedded, machining was excellent, no burrs to speak of, and flawless finish (not to mention aesthetically pleasing.) I am impressed. For 40 bucks, you won't be disappointed. POINT OF INTEREST -----Mounted a Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x50 with a Butler Creek scope cap. LOW Rings from TPS are plenty high enough.

You can't beat EGW's picatinny rails, A well-made AMERICAN product at an affordable price! You easily save $100 plus dollars over many other brands. We need more companies to follow this trend! I am totally satisfied and am buying another rail from EGW for long range shooting.

Great mount for my Rem ...

Great mount for my Rem 700 SPS Tactical 308. Once installed, it feels very solid and continuous with the receiver of the rifle. Great choice for those that want to mount on a 1913 rail.

Ordered this for my VTR ...

Ordered this for my VTR and it fits great, has plenty of clearance for loading and plenty of ring positions. The anodized coating looks like it'll take abuse as well. Nice mount for the money.

Excellent quality, fit ...

Excellent quality, fit and finish. The mounting screws are soft as noted below, but this is not a problem if they are torqued per the instructions (lb-in, not lb-ft!). I do recommend getting a +30 or 40 MOA mount if you're going to be shooting out past 3-400 yds.

I bought this a couple of ...

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the fit and finish. This base looked factory made for my gun and couldn't feel more solid. The screws that come with the base are indeed soft, but simple replacements from my local gun shop fixed that. It also works very well with the Burris XTR scope mounts. Very well done.

Rail itself shows quality workmanship and materials...fits perfect. Screws included are very soft and I advise you do not over torque them if you ever want to remove them again.

I bought the base to put ...

I bought the base to put it on a new model 700 .270 Win. It has been two years with out a problem. Holds a solid base and helps keep the scope zeroed. Infact I just bought another one for a new model 700 .308 Win.
