Lee NRA Formula Alox Stick Bullet Lube is a great bullet lube for any reloader looking for a soft lube that will work with a variety of different bullets and loads. The lube has a melting point of room temperature so a heater is not needed to soften the lube.

Highly Reccomend (for lubing lee molds)

I use this stuff to lube the pins and alignment ribs on Lee bullet molds as Lee reccomends (just dab the stick on the hot mold areas to prevent gauling of these critical surface. It performs so well lubing molds I am sure it would do the same for bullets, but I have never used it for that....I prefer the Lee liquid Alox tumble lube on my cast bullets.

Flows easily in my Saeco ...

Flows easily in my Saeco sizer with no heat. It performs well as a bullet lube. I get no leading in my pistol loads. The lube is sticky which is no problem if you load 'em into cartridges right away, but a mess if you store 'em for future loading.

Still using this bullet ...

Still using this bullet lube, but for a far different purpose that designed. My S&W Model 41 loved CCI Std Vel but not much else. I tried manually lubricating the bullets before loading into the magazine with Alox and have not had another problem with failure-to-feed (so far, fingers crossed!). I simply swirl a bullet in the hole to coat the lead with some lubricant. (I suspect this replaces the wax coating CCI puts on the bullets.)

I was surprised to see the price on this is more than expensive than the Lyman 50/50 alox/beeswax lube. Ive used this for years with great results, and I started using it because it was cheap. Ive used this in 38 special, 357 magnum, and 44 magnum loads. Ive always gotten good accuracy and never had a leading problem even when shooting the 44 magnum with maximum loads in a Winchester 94 at 1900 fps or so. The 44 magnum bullets do have a gas check. Ive shot 357 magnum loads in the 1200+ fps without a gas check. This is sticky and smokes as expected, but because its soft it flows fine without being heated.
