The Weapon Shield Grease ...

The Weapon Shield Grease is a NLGI 0-1.Ive used a number of the firearms specific greases and find that this grease is ideal consistency for pistol slide rails and as grease for the M1 and M1A.Especially good for use on aluminum framed pistols that see heavy range use. Does not migrate when heated, fling off or trap extreme amounts of fouling. Have started using a bit of the grease on the AR15 cam pin and the bolt carrier rails as it does not migrate off while in storage keeping the rifle lubed in a grab and go condition. Used along with the Weapon Shield CLP makes a great combination. Excellent product at a great price.

This grease is ...

This grease is outstanding. I have tried GunButter, Hi-Slip, Action Lube, and Bore Tech greases, and while these greases worked well, the WeaponShield grease is simply the best: it stays were it's put, does not run or cake over time, but achieves a perfect balance of oil and grease to any sliding part. I use WeaponShield grease on handgun rails, shotgun actions, rifle bolts, and most any or all various other sliding weapon parts. I use WeaponShield oil for everything else, thus systemitizing my weapon lubrication. As most other grease manufacturers claim, a little of this stuff really does go a long way, so the tub size is perfect. I keep a syringe of this grease in my range bag, as well as a needle applicator of the WeaponShield oil. Good-to-go.

Great grease. Run it on ...

Great grease. Run it on handgun rails and some 22s runs super smooth. Felt like slides were running on ball bearings and it really stayed in place. I wish it came in a larger container/size, its a small jar. I havn't really used a lot of other greases for rails before but I was very happy with the performance.

I use it on all my semi-auto pistols (including .22's), my AR-15's, and tactical shotguns. Easy to apply. Stays where I put it. Does an excellent job of lubricating and protecting moving parts! Just like the oil, it leaves a thin film of oil on applied parts, so don't get it all over your workbench. This stuff makes it easy to clean my guns. It doesn't smell as good as the oil (cinnamon), but still smells good. The oil works as a CLP, but doesn't clean as good as RemOil or dedicated cleaners.
