This the most accurate ...

This the most accurate bullet I have yet found for my 60 year old Savage 250-3000. With Winchester 748 in W-W cases, it groups half the size of the factory Remington 100 grainers. It is murderous on Jacks and other varmints, and I am going to give it a try this fall for deer.

Ive been shooting this ...

Ive been shooting this bullet in my tc encore 25-06 28" IMR 4350, shoots point blank to 400 yds -5" and drops everything in its tracks. My friend shot a 4x5 Muley at 400 yards center behind the shoulder it went 2-steps sideways and dropped. The bullet hit a rib and made 6 to 8 holes thru the heart & lungs, my 3x4 Muley was hit in the neck 25-30 yards severed the spine with 4" exit hole, when shooting with my friends this bullet will shoot the tacks off their targets at 100 yards.

3/4" groups out of my Weatherby Ultra Light. With a little more load developement I am sure I can get groups even smaller. Great bullet and pretty darn cheap price.

I switched to this bullet ...

I switched to this bullet since moving to south Texas because the whitetail are so small here. I used to use 100gr. bullets but switched to this because it shoots flatter in my 25-06. I load it with IMR-4831 and I'm pushing them at about 3300 fps. Groups are great averaging 1/2" and under at 100yds. I've shot a good size axis buck, a small hog and a fallow deer since using this bullet. Everything dropped where it was hit but meat damage was substantial. Great bullet overall.

The Model 99 Savage in ...

The Model 99 Savage in 250/3000 (250 Savage) is a great old standard. I have one, and it is one of my favorites. This bullet happens to be the best one I have ever loaded for this gun. It is quite accurate, and I have stopped many a Texas Whitetail with it. No, they don't always drop where they stand, but the bullet performs as advertised. None of the deer traveled more than 75 yards after being shot. The shots have averaged between 75 and 130 yards, and there has always been an exit wound. My load, 33.0 Grains of IMR 3031 is "booked" at a little over 3000 FPS, and groups a bit over 3/4 in @ 100 yds in this old gun. Reliable, yes. Comfortable to shoot, you bet. Meat getter, definately. I suggest you try it out, and I will wager you will be pleasantly surprised.
