I took this mag out today and put 1000 rounds of mix match ammo. I had some trouble at first because the molded green plastic at the front wasn't nice and smooth. So when you first get this mag, make sure you take some light grit sand paper or a file and take a bit off the feed ramp area of the mag. Other than that it cycled and ran all types of ammo like a champ, even at a high fire rate. It seemed to like CCI's mini mag the most, like any other .22. But after getting some of the rough spots fixed the mag still didn't hold open on the finish of the mag, but I can deal with that, for the first awesome high cap mag for the 795 I am as happy as could be.

Poor quality and ...

Poor quality and performance in this mag. I purchased 2 (2-12-12) this morning and shot both of them this afternoon. At first they worked flawlessly but after about 150 rounds each they were failing to feed the ammo into the gun with constant nose dives (ammo used consisted of cci, federal, winchester and remington), which caused the mag walls to expand just enough that the mag could not be removed from the gun. One of the two mags broke as a result. Also does not activate the last shot hold open on my Marlin 70pss. I would Not recommend this mag to any serious shooter. Shooters ridge will also be receiving a phone call on the issue as well

Horrible. Doesn't fit in the magwell, doesn't feed rounds into the chamber. Don't waste your time.

One feeds great ,one jams, just like the review I read before ordering. I filed the slow one but need to work on it still. Overall a great product. Way more fun than constantly reloading!

I shoot my 795 marlin A LOT, approx 2k-4k rounds a yr with just my one 10rd mag that I got with the rifle. So I was thrilled when I saw this 25rd mag. I have not gotten more than rds off without it jamming. I am getting failure to feeds. I can't say anything bad about durability since I didn't get to really use it which is why I gave it 2 stars.

Loaded 25 rounds of recommended ammo. Jammed on the first round. Magazine would not release. Plastic broke. Terrible quality and does not work with the Marlin 795. Threw it in the garbage at the range. Avoid this product.

Like a lot of others pointed out, it needs to be sanded down or you will have a jam every other round. After I did some work to the contact surfaces and the feed ramp, both of mine work flawlessly. Took about 15 min. I have put every type of ammo through it. My 795 runs like a sewing machine now.

Where do I start? It's seriously broke in half within the first 5 rounds, I am not kidding you! I was VERY upset. Didn't feed correctly AT ALL! And on top of that the top half of the mag got stuck after it broke into two pieces.. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! AT ALL.

I was very disappointed in this magazine. It is cheaply constructed and the plastic feed lips need some serious help. I expected much more from this magazine. One would think with the hundreds of flawless 10/22 extended magazines there are, one quality magazine could be made for the 795. Well unfortunately I was very wrong. This magazine jams 7 out of 10 times with all ammo, Federal, Remington, Hornady, and CCI. It is flimsy; the entire mag except for the spring is plastic and it feels like a toy pellet gun magazine. The only reason it gets two stars is because it is the first 795 extended mag Ive seen, so the idea is there but it has a long way to come before i'll buy another. I usually dont leave such destructive reviews but I dont want you to waste your money like I did.

These are terrible mags. I bought two. Both jammed non stop. One so bad I had to destroy it with my leatherman multi-tool to remove it at the range. The other fell apart. This was the first and last time I will ever buy these. Stick with the factory mags.

Bought 2 of these. Shot about 10 rounds from each and had jams. Put them up and got my wife a 10/22 yesterday. Got my marlin out to shoot with her a bit and loaded both of the champion mags to max. Neither would even load the first bullet and one jammed so bad the top of the clip broke when trying to remove it from the rifle. Unloaded and reloaded the one that hadnt broke and same thing happened to it. I then loaded my original 10 round clip to make sure the rifle wasnt causing the problem, shot all 10 rounds plus the rest of the evening w/o problems or jams. Clips suck, I had 2 so doubt it was a lemmon issue. Wont suggest one and will never buy another.
