The Mako AK-47 recoil reducing stock adapter is a polymer AR-15 style carbine receiver extension allowing you to mount any AR-15 collapsible stock for a mil-spec diameter tube. The Polymer extension will fit most AK-series rifles with a stamped receiver and fixed stock rear trunnion. The tube has 6 positions. Constructed of matte black polymer, made in Israel.

This fit very well in my WASR-10/63. I wish some documentation would have been included in the packaging. Overall, I am fairly pleased. It doesn't "feel" like the quality I was expecting. That being said, it doesn't seem like poor quality. I just would have expected more for $61. I attached a milspec buttstock. It doesn't slide smoothly on the buffer tube. Maybe some dry lubrication would have been handy. There are two bolts that hold the adapter into the receiver. I have seen a number of other people complain that one of the bolts is too short. One bolt screws into a nut that is mounted on the adapter. The other bolt screws into a wedge shaped piece that is completely removeable from the adapter. To properly mount this device, you have to remove that wedge and go ahead and barely screw in the first bolt into the receiver. Once this is done, you can then insert the adapter into the receiver, sliding over that wedge, and screw in the other screw and tighten the first screw. Hope that makes sense and is helpful to someone.
