This sight is made from 4130 steel and heat treated to 45 RC. This is the perfect sight upgrade for AK-pattern rifles, replacing the coarse, factory-furnished U-notch rear sight with a modern aperture for faster, more precise sight alignment. Features a black oxide finish and is elevation adjustable using the original rear sight's elevation slide.

This is one of the most important mods that you can make to your AR. My IO AK47c did not come with an optic mount rail on the receiver so the next best thing I thought would be to add a ghost ring iron sight. All I can say is that I lost 2in on my 100m groups. My install was a real pain as the spring steel reminded me of an auto leaf spring, it was that tough to mount. On other AKs this shouldn't be a problem. Search YouTube for some great instructional videos. Krebs makes some of the finest quality mods for the AK and this sight is no exception.

After zeroing my gun the front sight is way off to the left making the front ring and rear ring not line up so I see an oval. It shoots OK like that but its distracting and takes getting used to (my less experienced friends cannot seem to figure it out). If your gun shoots straight with the front sight centered this sight should work just fine. However If your gun shoots straight with the front sight far from centered you might want an adjustable rear sight. That way you can center the front sight and make all the adjustments at the rear sight. Otherwise the edge of the front sight guard will block part of your view and make it harder to center the front post. Also this is rather expensive for what it is, although it is well made and looks good. It would be perfect if it were adjustable for windage and elevation. I had it on on a Norinco MAK 90 with a round front sight guard.

Well made and durable blueing. Installed fairly easy for me, just follow the instructions. I filled in the range markings with a lacquer paint marker before installation. No modifications were needed on either the rifle or sight. I didn't have to make any changes to my windage and only a minor adjustment to my elevation. Initial sight in at 25 yds, final at 100yds. Target awareness was improved greatly. Held 6 inch group @ 100yds

First off, this thing DOES NOT come with the adjusting part of the rear leaf site, you will have to use YOURS, HOWEVER, make sure that the adjustment notches on your sight are on the lower left part of the sight. If not, your adjustment knob will not work with this, you will have to either buy a whole leaf sight for a Wasr 10 or similar, that has the notches on the lower left side. ALSO, this WILL in fact fit the Yugo, both fixed stock and underfolder, but you have to get the adjustment knob from a Wasr or some other Ak, the leaf itself fits just fine, and lines up with the front sight. As far as construction, I can't find anything wrong with it.

Great product!! Sight acquisition is a snap for my 33 yr old eyes, ( even with the stock front sight post) the mil spec rear sight notch is just too thin..and always looked like a blurry mess. I could never tell if I was looking at the front sight post or one of the front sight guards.. Would recommend this to anyone with an AK who believes the mil spec sights are less than ideal or if their eye sight is starting to go bad like mine. The AK is never going to be a 500 yrd weapon but these sights make it very easy to get on target fast, up to 200 yrds ( in my experience).

This Sight is Very nicely made. The finish appears to be very durable. It fit nicely on my American Tactical AT-47 and works Smooth. I would say it is worth the money to replace the stock sight. Should probably pick up the AK47 rear sight tool to simplify the process a little.

I had one of these mounted on my AK at one time. This sight is great for target shooting but if you dont have a proper cheek weld; it will take you a second to line up the sights to the target. Translation: quick sight alignment in a SHTF situation is difficult with this sight. Needless to say, It was removed and the old leaf was put back on. I also reccomend replacing the old front sight post with a Tritium post. I went with the XS barrel and post. Pricey but awesone. This holo didnt work too well with my philosophy of use. Great for slow fire Target shootin though!

Very good product. The sight picture is far better than the standard AK rear sight, it's also much easier to aim faster for me since I'm more experienced with this type of a rifle sight. Installation is a bit of a pain, as it is with any AK sight you would want to pit on. I suggest that after you take off the old sight and you're about to put this one on, that you use two screwdrivers. One to hold the spring down, and then use the handle of the other to push the sight forward at the same time.

Ordered the Krebs to replace the useless rear sight on my Saiga 7.62x39. Taking off the rear sight is a piece of cake. Putting the Krebs back on requires some elbow grease due to the pressure of the leaf spring. Overall install time is less than 5 min. This sight is night and day from the saiga factory rear. You can actually see the front sight clearly and more field of view
